“Velcro”

“Velcro” lived to be 19 years and 8 months old!!! He came into my life when I was working at the emergency clinic…….abandoned by his abuser who had kicked him in the stomach making him unable to urinate due to bruising of his abdomen. I took him home to nurse him back to health with the intention of sending him to the shelter once he was better…….needless to say, he stole my heart and found his forever home with me!!!!

He was my constant shadow – thus the name…..he stuck to me or the other pets in my home like glue…….he could not get physically close enough to us…..always had to be touching another warm body if he could…..he even slept ON MY HEAD most nights!! Since he’s been gone, my house seems emptier…….even a little guy like him can occupy a BIG space in our homes and our hearts………

There is no real point behind this post other than to honor “Velcro’s” memory and bring you all just a bit of the happiness he brought to me! ENJOY!!!!!
